CHALLENGE

Despite having a supply chain of their own, the company wanted to expand its delivery services, supply chain efficiency and nationwide reach with partners in warehousing, inside delivery, and carrier management.

Due to the heightened expectations surrounding the holiday season, the company had identified a 2.5 hour window to turnaround each shipment at origin as well as a time certain delivery.  With such a small windows of time, it was imperative that the client identified a logistics provider who has the carrier reach and relationships to coordinate a time specific pickup schedule within the high-value white glove industry.

 

SOLUTION

Amer Trans Logistics created a customized logistics solution that identified service gaps, eliminated complications, and greatly improved overall communication and efficiency.   Amer Trans Logistics completed 85 deliveries within the US and Canada in 2013 without incident, and is currently on schedule to assist once again in 2014.
